Lean Green Belt course (English)

The Lean Green Belt is intended for people who will independently lead a Lean project in an organization. In this 5-day course, all Lean principles and instruments are discussed in detail. You will learn to apply Lean independently in your own work and learn in a playful way with various simulations.

The Lean Green Belt training can be  as a follow-up course after the Lean Yellow Belt training. Please note: it is not mandatory to take a Lean Yellow Belt before taking the Lean Green Belt course.

We offer our training on location and online in our Virtual Classroom.

Online learning environment ‘My Bureau Tromp’

On the first day of training you will get access to your personal ‘My Bureau Tromp’ online learning environment. Here you will find an overview of your courses and certificates obtained. You will also find the training material, e-learnings, exercises and templates here.

What’s in this training?

Our Lean Green Belt training is a 5-day LCS certified training. During an intensive period we prepare you as a project leader of Lean projects. During the training you will immediately apply what you have learned, both in simulation games and in your own practice. Do you not have a suitable working environment? No problem, we also have a fictional process available for you! In the Lean Green Belt training you will learn that Lean is more than just applying tools: it is a pattern for moving from problem to cause to solution. This creates a learning and continuously improving organization. It is important that management and employees accept improvements and implement them themselves. That is why the subject of change management receives a lot of attention during this Lean Green Belt training.

After the training:

• Participants have knowledge of and experience with the most relevant elements from the Lean toolbox;
• Participants are able to act as a Lean leader (in the long term);
• Participants are able to independently make improvements in their daily work;
• Participants are able to apply the right tools at the right time;
• Participants are able to involve and inspire colleagues.

How long does the Lean Green Belt training take?

The Green Belt training takes 5 days spread over one lesson day per week (see all lesson dates at the start date of your choice). The training days are from 9:30 am to approximately 4:00 pm. You will be given homework assignments between the blocks. These are discussed in the group. The study load excluding training days is 3 to 4 hours per week.

Our coaches and the LCS certification

The Lean Green Belt training is given by our experienced Lean Six Sigma Black Belt consultants.

At the end of the training you will do an exam. You will receive the official Lean Green Belt Theory certificate from ‘Lean Competency System’ (LCS). Did you fail? No worries, we will schedule a one-time retake. Do you also want to obtain a practical certificate? Then also add practical guidance to your course.

Bureau Tromp is a Lean trainer accredited by ‘Lean Competency System’ (LCS). You will receive a worldwide acknowledged certificate.

Hoe much will it cost?

The cost for participation is € 2.875,- (excl. 21% VAT) per participant. This includes all training materials, theory exam, official LCS Lean Green Belt certificate, ‘My Tromp’ learning environment and facilities (lunch, drinks etc.). If you have already followed a training with us, you will always receive a 10% discount on all our trainings.

Practical guidance (optional)

You determine the intensity of the coaching. Of course, we are happy to help you with this. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

On the registration page you can choose from three different levels: 6, 12 or 18 hours of coaching. Six hours is the absolute minimum to obtain the LCS practice certificate. The more time we have together, the more regular, substantive and personal our guidance will be.
