Theory and Practice
We think it’s important that Black Belts also have practical experience. After all, a successful improvement project is the tangible proof of your competences. We understand that it is not always possible to do a project immediately after your training. For that reason, this training course consists of a separately bookable theory section and a practical section.
Theoretical part: 5 days of training for the Lean Black Belt theoretical certificate.
Practical part: Under the guidance and supervision of our (Master) Black Belt consultants, you will carry out a Lean improvement project. Afterwards you will receive the worldwide acknowledged Lean Black Belt certificate.
Content Theoretical part:
In 5 days of training, you will learn everything about Lean. We start with refreshing the Lean Green Belt theory. In an informal setting, we review the most important Green Belt topics and we test the (still) existing knowledge of the participants. Our trainers ensure that the program always will be adapted to the knowledge present in the group.
In the Green to Black Belt training you’ll learn all instruments from the Lean toolbox and you’ll get to work in an active way. We also pay extra attention to coaching skills, facilitating workshops, data analysis, coaching, project management and change management.
In this training we use a diversity of Lean games, exercises, videos and practical simulations. This way, the theory becomes immediately visible in practice and you can immediately apply the tools in your work environment. The training has a practical focus and is interactive and our Master Black Belt consultant/trainer will share his own experience.
At the end of the theoretical part there will be an exam and – if you pass – you will receive the official LCS Lean Black Belt certificate level 2a.
